At Chromium we are keen supporters of grass roots womens football. The business owner Ian Anderson is proud of his father's Kilmarnock roots and has sponsored six players in the Kilmarnock Womens team since the start of the 2018 season.
Previous sponsored players have included Lauren Kerr, Clare Docherty, Vicky Chung, Amy Burrows and Dani Connolly.
Abby Robinson has been at Kilmarnock for a number of seasons and last year saw her sign a professional contract with the club. Abby works tirelessly in midfield but also contributes goals of her own. She was named Player of the Year in the 2022/23 season and we are delighted that she has already signed up for the 2023/24 season.
Having started her career at Celtic and Motherwell, Lauryn joined Kilmarnock in 2021 and has shown consistent development across that time. She has played in a variety of positions but always always gives 100% wherever she is asked to play. She is having a strong season so far and we hope to see that continue in the games ahead.
Dionne Brown joined Kilmarnock this year, adding some valuable experience to a relatively young squad. She wasted no time in opening her goal scoring account and has played an important part in the teams success so far this season. We hope that Dionne can add some more goals in the games to come!
In addition to our support of the womens team we are delighted to be the away shirt sponsor of Innes Cameron this season. He joined Kilmarnock as a youngster but has had loan spells at Stranraer, Ayr, Alloa and Queen of the South. He made 21 appearances in league and cup for the club last season and his performances earned him a new one year contract for the 2023/24 season. We hope to see Innes add more goals to his tally this season.
